On July 29, 2019, at 6 pm in the office of the Association “Danube 1245”, the Founding Committee for the formation of the partnership for rural development K2 organized a round table “Info Day K2” for the citizens of Sremski Karlovci. The meeting was attended by representatives of the public, private and civil sectors.

The meeting presented the basic principles of the LEADER approach and the way we will use this state instrument to implement rural development in our environment, all in accordance with the Public Invitation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management to apply for incentives to support programs related to to prepare a local rural development strategy in 2019.

The participants were informed that the President of the Municipality of Sremski Karlovci was informed about the launch of this initiative and that he gave his consent in principle, which he will confirm in writing.
The Founding Board prepared a Citizen Questionnaire that the participants filled out.

It was agreed to organize the Founding Assembly of the Partnership on the Kurjačka greda stretch on the left bank of the Danube, where the territories of Sremski Karlovci and Kovilj merge.
