We responded to the kind invitation of the LAG “Srce Bačke” addressed to all LAGs and, together with representatives of about 10 other local action groups, we took part in the discussion on the process of drafting local rural development strategies and issues related to future actions. Our kind hosts enabled informal socializing and exchange of experiences after the realization of the planned agenda. The work during the planned agenda was led by the manager of the LAG “Srce Bačke”, Mr. Bojan Kovač in cooperation with the municipality of Kula, and the host of the informal part was the president of the municipality Mr. Damjan Miljanic, who made a strong message for the representatives of the LAGs that projects are expected from them, as well as that the development of strategies must be accelerated in accordance with the dynamics of social movements, in order to avoid strategic solutions being outdated at the time of adoption. The participants agreed that such gatherings are necessary and useful and the LAG “Partnership for Potamišje” offered to host the next gathering.
